Our Story

Our story begins in Paris, the city where I moved with my French husband and where I spent six years in an active professional dance career. This city can and will affect everyone, and that is definitely true for me. Paris gave me my first professional experience in the global scene, the Moulin Rouge Cabaret offered me a tremendous amount of information from the world of contemporary dance and was an incredible experience. I met with artists and choreographers from around the world, revealed the possibilities and limits of my own body, and when it was almost too late, that led me to Bikram Yoga.

At first Bikram Yoga was an excellent supplement to the exercise of unilateral loading on the scene. A few months later, Bikram Yoga was the perfect method of postoperative rehabilitation (I had broken cartilage in the hips), and thanks to Bikram Yoga I did not have to stop dancing. On the contrary, I got in shape and three months after the hip surgery, I was back on the scene.

Just at this moment I realized that dancing was not fulfilling me anymore, and that Bikram Yoga would replace it. This is due to its accuracy, intensity and integrity, which is the first stage impact on the physical body. If we learn to control our minds, calm breathing, proactively changing everyday stereotypes that make us say stress, but on the other hand, having them feel so safe, there was a positive impact on our psyche, emotions, become more resistant to mental and our physical body is released.

These were my initial feelings when I was in Paris after operations and practicing very regularly. It became obvious to me that it was until time to return to the Czech Republic. I began to explore in detail the product, which I will help people provide their own medical advances. Suddenly I had something I could bring him home.

I took part in an intensive Teach Training led directly by Bikram Choudhury and his doctors and specialists in Los Angeles, which I still attend regularly two times a year, as a source of information. Shortly after I started teaching in the Paris studio while I also received the guidance of an instructor. Then I replace the boards Moulin Rouge for sweaty carpet and then moved to the Czech Republic.

The Prague studio doors opened in September 2006 and since then through them have stepped hundreds of satisfied clients, who are transforming before our eyes. Today, the entire studio is a perfect cooperation of a very enthusiastic and experienced team of young instructors, receptionists, and reception manager who are always available and ready to answer all your quesitons. We have a good atmosphere at the reception welcoming new clients. I myself teach almost every day and the studio became a second home for my daughter right from her birth. Currently, in addition to my mentoring work, my big task is to keep the authenticity and quality of product, which is a selection of classical hatha yoga postures set in the form of heat and working for both beginners and advanced around the world since 1971 and has proven results. It is very easy to offer paying customers something pleasant, painless, inexpensive, simply adapt the product to sell better, as happens in most hot yoga studios all over the world. My goal is to keep it in its original form, not walking away from the essence. It was perfectly conceived, so why change it?

The whole series of 26 postures and two breathing exercises is based on regularity (daily or several times a week you compress or stretch and strengthen the same muscles, tendons, joints, organs and glands), accuracy of form, sequence postures (not changing anything, because only the then the specific posture has effects on your body and prepares you for the following posture) and intensity (a series of postures is still the same, but in relation to understanding the forms, You have to reconsider and increase depth otherwise you stagnate). One without the other does not work, and if someone tells you feeling a little pain, which is the best indicator of your limits, that pain is bad for you, look at his or her life, does it work?

The whole scientific method of strengthening, stretching, balancing and detoxification was handed to us by Bikram Choudhury and from my own work with people with various acute and chronic problems I have had the opportunity to see that exactly in this form and intensity it delivers results.

Although in the beginning you may feel that it's difficult for you and there must be some other easier and more enjoyable physical activities, try a while longer. The entire 90 minute lesson is only a reflection of your own approach to life. When the going gets tough out there, what do you do? Escape or confront the situation?

Come relax, move your life from its temporary limits or simply get in shape again. We look forward to seeing you in the lesson.
