Eva Nosová

From childhood Eva has been devoted to various forms of exercise, mostly aerobics. She later began to have problems with her lumbar spine and hips. But Evan continued with aerobics, then became an instructor. Eva̳s health problems were becoming more frequent, however. The final verdict of the doctors was: “No aerobics and you will be happy that you can walk.#&8221; It took her a long time before she could accept this ban. She began to look for some alternative physical activity. Eva tried everything but still could not find something that she really enjoyed. For a long time and was interested in yoga. Eva read many books about yoga, but never tried to practice, the asanas seemed too static, with little action. Eva first tried Bikram Yoga in 2007. Then she returned from a long stay abroad. She chose between several types of yoga and Bikram Yoga clearly won, because she still could not get reacclimated to the Czech winter and loved training in the heat. Yet it was a real challenge for her. Eva lay on her mat in the final savasana and knew that this was the right thing for her. Finally she found what has and wants to do. It took much longer than for her Bikram Yoga practice to evolve from toil to happyness, but she survived. After more than four years, Eva went to Los Angeles, where she graduated from Teacher‛s Training led by Bikram Choudhury. Bikram Yoga has become an integral part of her life. Not only did her medical problems virtually disappear, yoga has given her a greater emotional balance and stamina, she learned more patience and humility, and not least because she discovered a new joy and purpose in life.

Favorite Postures
My favorite postures are cobra, full locust and more recently the standing bow. As with most of it is always a posture that I most respect, or that I can improve a bit.
Least Favorite Posture
Fixed firm pose and rabbit. I have fought with these two for a long time and we have not completely mastered either.
