Jana Dohnalová

Jana was born in Prague, and from a young age she wanted to become a ballerina. But after school instead of going into the theater she began to build a career in one of the leading publishers in the Czech Republic. Jana worked in various publishing postures for more than 15 years. In 2007, she brought her best friend to Bikram Yoga The first lesson, it seemed special, rather funny. She wondered how the people in the first place could hold, how is it that they do not fall in the Half Moon Posture? How is it that they can stand still al wet with sweat? As it can be fun? Lots of questions! Then came the second lesson, third, fourth, fifth ... twentieth lesson. And Jana found compensation for his childhood dream. Finally, she didn't need to worry about the aerobics in the gym or spinning. Finally Jana found something insanely fun again. Four years later she went to Teacher Training in San Diego. To the astonishment of her friends, family and colleagues she stopped working in publishing and began working as a Bikram Yoga instructor and also accepted the position of manager Bikram Yoga studio Prague.

Favorite Posture
What is my favorite posture? I've always felt the most fun posture is the one which I did not do best. And as with regular exercise, you body is constantly changing, and so does my favorite posture. Currently my favorite posture is Standing Bow Pulling even if only on the right side. The left side is still fighting, on the right side it is easy, bit on the left side I still have a long way to go. And that‛s what I so enjoy it, there is always room for improvement, each lesson is very different despite the fact that at first glance all they look the same.
Least Favorite Posture
My usual least favorite is the Camel. This is for me probably the hardest posture to fully relax and let go of myself and all emotions, worries, and stress, which I want in life, but but in this posture that is difficult.
